TBG 65: Premier League Matchweek 3 | Arsenal Hate Cake

Blake takes a deep dive into his anger at the current Arsenal situation, and serves up a hearty helping of hate cake. Ferris and Ron desperately try to talk about the rest of the Premier League weekend, but Blake's rage kept bringing it back to Arsenal. Thankfully, Ferris brought a great IPA from DuClaw Brewing Company to calm the waters. (Spoilers...it didn't work.)

In honor of the Arsenal vs Liverpool match, Ferris brought in the Fast Faster & Disaster IPA from DuClaw Brewing Company. Blake decided, that if Arsenal was going to be discussed, he would need something extra, and provided the Diplomatico Añejo Rum. (It's hard being an Arsenal fan right now.)

Ron is on a plane flying back from Beijing, so Ferris and Blake got together to do a quick look at three matches from Premier League Week 1. We discuss Arsenal v Leicester, Watford v Liverpool, and Manchester United v West Ham. We'll save the Chelsea discussion for when Ron is back in the studio.

When Ron returns this weekend, we'll get a full episode in looking at Premier League Week 2, MLS news, and of course, making Ron discus Chelsea's loss to Burnley.

TBG 34: Premier League Matchdays 19 & 20 - Midseason Sackings - Scorpion Kicks

Our 34th episode, and the first one of the new year! We can hardly belive how the time has flown. So here's what we are talking about in this episode. After the Premier League has stuffed as many matches as possible at the end of December, and the beginning of the new year, we have a lot of to talk about. We also look back at the predictions we made at the beginning of the season to see how they are faring. We talk about the Premier League's great manager culling of the bottom teams, and also take a look at the national call-ups for USA's Men and Women's National Teams.

The beer review for this episode was a fancy one. Ron introduced us to the Belgian made Trignac XII from Castle Brewery Von Honsebrouck. It was a Belgian Trippel aged in congac barrels. Give a listen to see what we think of it. It was so fancy, we had to drink pinkies out.
