TBG 33: Premier League Boxing Day Special 2016 - Year End Soccer Roundup

This is our Boxing Day Special. After watching all the Premier League Boxing Day matches, we stepped into the studio to talk about those games, and wrap up the soccer year so far.

Since this was our first Boxing Day Special, Blake decided to go big with the Christmas beers. They are all from Belgium, they are all delicious, and they will all keep you warm on a cold night.

The first was the Christmas Ale from St. Bernardus, followed by the Gouden Carolus Noël, and we finished off with the Scaldis Noël from Dubuisson. There was a lot of good discussion about these beers (and good discussion BECAUSE of these beers).

We hope you all have had a happy holiday season. Thanks for joining us along the way. Here's to 2017!

Cheers!

TBG 15: Premier League Kickoff and Hope Flies Solo

Soccer in England is back!!! We talk the first games of the Premier League season, and have a passionate discussion about Hope Solo from the failed USWNT Olympic run. It's our first heated debate, and we had a great time hashing it out with each other. Don't worry, beers and smiles were had after.

We review a seasonal offering from Duck Rabbit Brewery.

TBG 11: U.S. Women's Olympic Soccer Team & MLS 7/23/16

We discuss our thoughts of the U.S. Women's Olympic Soccer Team and the choice of their squad. The short story is...WE ARE GONNA STRIKE GOLD!!! We also share how ridiculously excited we are to see Megan Rapinoe back on the pitch.

After our Olympic talk, we move on to discuss how things are standing in the MLS. Plus, we take a fun look at how all the professional men's soccer clubs in MLS, NASL, and USL would line up if we had promotion and relegation here in the U.S.A.

To celebrate Ron's upcoming trip to Scotland, the beer reviewed in this podcast is Harviestoun's Old Engine Oil.
