TBG 58: Pints for Parkinson's Pod Special

On this pod special, we talk to Rose Babcock, the host and organizer of Pints for Parkinson's here in Orlando, FL. On Saturday, July 22nd, at our local World of Beer, this event will be raising money for The Michael J. Fox Foundation to benefit Parkinson's research. Several great breweries, both local to Central Florida and national, have donated their beer and tons of fun swag for this very worthy cause. TBG 34: Premier League Matchdays 19 & 20 - Midseason Sackings - Scorpion Kicks

Our 34th episode, and the first one of the new year! We can hardly belive how the time has flown. So here's what we are talking about in this episode. After the Premier League has stuffed as many matches as possible at the end of December, and the beginning of the new year, we have a lot of to talk about. We also look back at the predictions we made at the beginning of the season to see how they are faring. We talk about the Premier League's great manager culling of the bottom teams, and also take a look at the national call-ups for USA's Men and Women's National Teams.

The beer review for this episode was a fancy one. Ron introduced us to the Belgian made Trignac XII from Castle Brewery Von Honsebrouck. It was a Belgian Trippel aged in congac barrels. Give a listen to see what we think of it. It was so fancy, we had to drink pinkies out.

TBG 32: Premier League Week 17 and Alex Morgan to France

We gathered together a few days before Christmas to talk a bit about recent Premier League matches, and some soccer news that is closer to home for us Orlando-based soccer fans. We called up our resident NWSL and all women's soccer expert, Caitlin Elliot, to discuss the recent news of Alex Morgan deciding to play a part of next season in the France. This will leave her missing a few months of the upcoming season with the Orlando Pride. We also discussed Caitlin's unfortunate choice of becoming a Hull supporter in the Premier League this year. At least she got a sweet Hull City onesie out of it.

Since it is close to Christmas, Blake introduced the crew to the legend of Krampus with Southern Tier Brewing's seasonal Imperial Helles Lager. You can enjoy his dramatic reading of the legend of this Krampus beer. Sound effects were provided live by Ron and Ferris.

Santa Yoda is keeping us safe from Krampus.

We will be recording a special Boxing Day episode immediately following the Premier League matches on Boxing Day, so be on the lookout for that. We'll also be live-tweeting during the matches.

TBG 27: Premier League Week 11 - MLS Playoffs - USA vs Mexico

In this show, we wrap up week 11 of the Premier League. A week that saw several goals scored by a just a few teams. Which is a good thing, because some of the matches were nap inducing. (We're looking at you, King Power-nap Stadium). We also look at MLS Cup Playoffs and have a discussion about the USMNT roster going into USA vs Mexico.
